Get Together with RHA

This requires a medium level of commitment. RHA Connectors are people-people, who enjoy mingling with others to feedback and share ideas about our services at tenant events, community meetings, tenant and resident groups and through home visits and routine satisfaction surveys.

Community fun days

Come along to small events in your area and talk to staff about what matters to you.

When / Where
One morning a year at a location in your community.

Why
You can tell us how to improve our services (like repairs or advice) and see changes in the area where you live.

Who
Any tenant able to attend the Fun Day.

How

Tenant big get together

Come along to our Big Get Together event which will take place once a year.

When / Where
One day a year at a venue central to Rhondda Cynon Taff.

Why
This is a chance to talk with RHA’s management staff and suggest changes to the way we do things, in the area that you live.

Who
Any tenant wishing to take part.

How

Tenant and residents group

Attend or run tenant and resident groups in your community.

When / Where
These meetings can be run in your area, as often as you like, if you have enough tenants interested.

Why
These meetings offer a good chance to meet up with your neighbours to share your thoughts on things that are important in your area.

Who
Anyone willing and able to attend local meetings.

How
You can make contact with your Housing Officer who can tell you if there’s a group you can join, or can advise you on how to start your own.

Home chats/visits

You can take part in a home chat and complete short questionnaires to give feedback on how happy you are with your home and our services.

When / Where
A member of staff will visit you in your home, for one hour, once every two years.

Why
You can get any help you may need in managing your home, as well as receiving information around your needs and interests.

Who
You and anyone living in your home.

How
Make sure you meet with your Housing Officer and chat through all of the issues that you wish to.

‘We did – you said’ surveys

When you have received a service from us (such as a repair or advice) you can provide feedback on how it went.

When / Where
A member of staff or a volunteer will contact you by phone or email and you choose to take part in the survey.

Why
Giving us feedback helps check that the services we provide are working – or could help us to see when our services need improving.

Who
Any tenant who has recently received a service.

How
You can reply to our email or agree to take part in our surveys when we contact you.

Text messages

Take part in feedback surveys about your home or your tenancy, surveys are sent to you by text.

When / Where
The texts will come straight to your mobile from time to time.

Why
It’s a great way to stay in touch, to tell us when we’re doing well and how we can be better.

Who
Anyone who has a mobile.

How

Take part in feedback surveys about your home or your tenancy, surveys are sent to you by email.

When / Where
The emails will come straight to your inbox from time to time.

Why
It’s a great way to stay in touch, to tell us when we’re doing well and how we can be better.

Anyone who has access to an email account and a computer.

How

‘You said –we did’ surveys

Take part in our ‘You said –we did’ surveys, on themes that are important.

When / Where
Every two months you can take part in surveys via phone, text or email.

Why
This is your chance to play your part in feedback and in changing things which you are interested in.

Who
Anyone who has access to a phone or email. We aim to involve at least 50 tenants a time.

How
